A quick reminder in case I haven’t mentioned it enough: this coming weekend I’ll be a guest at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in San Pedro, California (basically, Los Angeles). I’m really looking forward to the trip, and not merely because it’s raining sheets here in Seattle and L.A. is sunny and warm. I’ll be doing several activities & panels, including:

* a drawing competition/jam with some other Lovecrafty artists
* a panel on writing Mythos fiction, with luminaries such as Gary Myers (!!)
* and a demo of my new game “Mangaka”, with a twist… it’s MANGAKA CTHULHU!! Yes, I’ve created a full set of Cthulhu- and Lovecraft-themed Themes, Fortunes and Impairments for Mangaka, the Fast & Furious Game of Drawing Comics! Join us in the battle to be the greatest Weird-Tales-style pulp writer-slash-comic artist ever, even if you can’t even draw a stick figure!

I’d write more, but I’ve got to finish reading John Ajvide Lindqvist’s “Handling the Undead” and then get back to work. More art soon!
