Still working away on lots of comics, both silly and serious. If you haven’t been listening to it, I heartily recommend you check out The Double Shadow, the Clark Ashton Smith podcast which is one of my main working soundtracks. I’m also going to be a guest on the show for next week’s ‘casting of The Seven Geases — probably my favorite Clark Ashton Smith story and one of my favorite fantasy stories, full stop. I’ll link to it when the episode goes up, but if you haven’t read this one, it’s definitely worth checking out.

The set up. We see how normal everything is establishment of the characters and their dynamic. We get to know them before the horror begins. then we have some idea how they will react in the new circumstances.
