Many of the rooms and buildings in “The Stiff” are based on real locations. The journalism room is based on the old journalism room in Healdsburg High School. I took reference photos of it several years ago when I was drawing these pages for the first time. Since then, the school has gotten a massive upgrade, and all the architecture is different.
